Last October was World Breast Cancer Day, and at Grupo Saona to do our bit to help. For this reason, for every tasting menu served during the week of October 18-24, Grupo Saona €1 to breast cancer research. All the money raised went to the FISABIO Foundation (fisabio.san.gva.es) for its triple-negative breast cancer research program. In addition, to give more visibility to the initiative, we dyed our napkins in very special colors during that week.

During those days, 3,205 tasting menus were served throughout the Valencian Community; 106 in Sevilla; 328 in Barcelona; 202 in Albacete; and 1,362 in the Community of Madrid. Thanks to the initiative carried out in October by Grupo Saona, we have collaborated with these 5,203 people who helped us to donate the amount to the Foundation for the Promotion of Health and Biomedical Research in the Valencian Community (FISABIO). This amount will be allocated entirely to breast cancer research, as established by the Oncology Department of the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Valencia.
